60-120 can display action-packed movement with sharp detail and vivid
contrast while eliminating image distortion.Wide Color Enhancer Plus allows you to witness the entire RGB spectrum
brought to life on your screen to bring you exceptionally vibrant, yet
natural-looking images faithful to the director’s original intent. I just bought this apparently lovely product but had to return it because it lacks any type of audio output. I has neither digital nor analog audio output, not even a headphone jack. There is no way to connect an external sound system to the TV as you need to if using cable feed directly to the set. I see no other TV with this deficiency. The TV salesman at Costco had never noticed this and was, like me, shocked by the absence of any output connections. The comparable Samsung 42" has both digital and analog audio outputs. It costs $75 less.
I don't know about it's dependability since it's new but my other Samsung DLP projection TV has been running for seven years so I'd expect this new one would be even better. Would certainly recommend it. Purchased this TV though an Amazon affiliate and it arrived within a couple of days so very pleased with the shipping. It arrived in excellent shape and had it installed and up and running in a few minutes. Picture quality is excellent and the built in sound system is very good. Not theater quality but still very clear, lots of audio and nice stereo quality and it's light making it easy to move around for cleaning and so on.

Would certainly recommend it. So far this TV has performed very well. It was exremely easy to set up. I am very satisfied with the Samsung 40" TV at this time. Since our 30 year old TV died recently, this is the first flat/big screen TV we have purchased. This TV was easy to set up and we are loving it.
I was told by my IT people at work that Samsung is the best, so that is why we purchased this TV. We are extremely happy with this purchase and are enjoying the large screen, great color and sound. Were told by a sales person at a big box store that we would need a sound bar, but since it is not inside an entertainment center, but is open to the room, the sound works wonderfully well in our ranch home living room. My husband and I have become Samsung TV fans and this 40" flat screen did not disappoint us! The picture is clear and the sound is good; no additional speakers are really needed in a smaller sized room. Set up was a breeze! Cheap parts and horrible version of a TV. After 7 weeks the TV won't even turn on. Whenever I turn it on the sound plays that the system is booting up, the red lights blink and then the system appears to be on. However, if you try to turn it back off, it simply replays the same sequence. It's stuck in "off" mode and will now have to be sent off for repair. Samsung clearly rushed this and put inferior parts/labor into this line.I haven't had this tv for 2 months and it has gone berserk. I talked with technician and described what it was doing and he said it needed a new panel. Sounds to me like this is a natural thing with this tv (no wonder it is so cheap). I have to wait 5 to 7 days for them to order it. They never even came by to check it out, was just certain that's what it was. It used to take 15 to 20 years for me ever to have a problem with a tv, generally longer. I think the worst thing they ever did was go to digital tv. I have had to throw away all my small tv's and portable tv's, which I could have fallen back on when this one went out and now I have to go to my bedroom or study to watch anything. My little 10 inch tv with the converter gives me more channels and less trouble than the two 46 and 47" digitals, which are both on a digital antenna. The analog with converter is on analog antenna.
Be careful about ordering anything that has to come a long distance. They said this one was probably juggled around in transport.
I think the worst part is I have been told over and over that Samsung is best tv. I thought my Philips was so much better, but it gave out in a little over 3 years. I'm sorry I didn't just pay to have it fixed.
I guess this was probably just a lemon, but it sure is disconserting to have it happen to me.
IT IS NOW MAY 1ST AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY TV TO BE FIXED. THEY SENT OFF FOR THE PART 8 DAYS AGO.
